This lamp is a piece of art as well as a source for a fun science project!  The switch is controlled by two magnet balls. When you lift the lower magnet ball, it will be attracted by the hanging one and remain suspended in mid-air, switching on the light.  This lamp is adopted a design where the lighting element is embedded into the frame so the light can find its way out.
